A CEBU City Hall job order (JO) worker was shot dead at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025 inside his house in General Gines St., Barangay Suba, Cebu City.
Police said Roldan Delima Minguito, 46, who worked at the Cebu City Zoo, had just entered his house when a slender man followed him. Seconds later, the man shot Minguito multiple times in the head in front of the victim’s son.
The assailant quickly fled on board a blue motorcycle, leaving the victim lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
The victim’s family revealed Minguito had received death threats prior to the incident due to a relationship he had with a married woman from Barangay Busay.
Investigators are now focusing on the “love triangle” as motive for the killing. They already have a person of interest; while
