

SEVERAL areas in Davao City will experience scheduled power outages on Sunday, December 8, 2024, as announced by Davao Light and Power Co., Inc.
The 10-hour outage will begin from 12 a.m. to 10 a.m., affecting customers in Tagorot Licanan, Bosque, Brgy, Mahayag, Bunawan-Maharlika Highway, Mahayag proper, Piatos Bunawan, and San Isidro Bunawan. These outages are necessary for upgrades to the Mahayag Line.
A 30-minute normalization activity will take place between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. to restore power after substation work at P. Reyes Substation.
Areas specifically affected include Gempesaw Street and Ramon Magsaysay Avenue to Leon Garcia Street, Sta. Ana Avenue to Lizada Street, Quezon Boulevard to Bolton Bridge, as well as Bucana, City Hall, SP Building, portions of Pichon Street, Bolton Extension, and surrounding areas.
Other affected areas include Gaisano Grand Toril, Carabao Statue Gaisano Mall Toril, Sirawan, Binugao, and Therma South, Inc. Customers in Camp Catitipan, F. Bangoy International Airport, the entire Cabantian area, Amakan, Indangan, Malagamot, Cabantian Road, Buhangin Memorial, Gaisano Grand Citygate Mall, Crossing Milan, and parts of Mamay Road to Diversion Road will also experience outages.
Outages will also impact portions of Tulip Drive, McArthur Highway MTS, Ilustre area, JS Gaisano Grand Ilustre, Gov. Duterte Street to Pelayo Street, University Avenue, Juna Subdivision, Quirino Avenue, Bankerohan, Madapo Hills, Marfori, and J. Street.
Additionally, San Pedro Extension, Camus Street, and Malvar Street will be affected. DEF
