THE Commission on Elections–Davao City (Comelec-Davao) has released the names of local candidates who submitted their Statements of Contributions and Expenditures (Soces) before the June 11, 2025, deadline.
In the First District, the following councilor candidates filed their Soces on time: Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, Ragde Nino P. Ibuyan, J. Melchor B. Quitain Jr., Tristan Joshua B. Corsino, Priscilla G. Albarracin, Luna Maria Dominique Acosta-Manlitoc, Ricky E. Liparanon, Markoper P. Javier, Francis L. Gonzalez, Jessica M. Bonguyan, and Pamela Librado-Morata. Also listed are Archie Z. Cubos, Temujin B. Ocampo, Nilo M. Abellera Jr., Gilbert Q. Villasis, Bonz Andre A. Militar, Mary Jane C. Aguinaldo, Antonette A. Sabes, Alvin T. Roy, Rogelio F. Jabines, Kariz Ayah C. Martinez, Jassille B. Dulla-Cherry, and Faye B. Al-ag.
In the Second District, Comelec posted the names on June 16. The following councilor candidates submitted their Soces: Ralph O. Abella, Doce O. Apostol, Al Ryan S. Alejandre, Mary Crystel I. Abrenica, Richlyn J. Baguilod, Louie John J. Bonguyan, Janel D. Banzon, Nilo C. Cabiles, Arnulfo Ricardo B. Cabling, Regidor F. Cortez, Keith Jon N. Corton, and Danilo C. Dayanghirang. Also included are Jonard C. Dayap, Jimmy G. Dureza, Antonio A. Emberda, Maja Lakambini O. Enriquez, Rhia V. Felipas, Felochie A. Gencianos, Diosdado Angelo J. Mahipus, Paola Isabelle O. Salvador, Allan P. Simo-ag, Henry D. Respecia, and Erwin L. Uy.
In the Third District, the following candidates filed their SOCEs: Bai Hundra Cassandra Dominique Advincula, Ritchelle Joy Al-ag, Jose Marie Baluran, Ramon Bargamento, Ramil Fernando Brucal, Michael John Cabalhin, Ricky Castillote, Carmelo Clarion, Myrna Dalodo-Ortiz, and Efren Echalico. Other candidates who complied include Larry Franco, Junrich Malolot, Rodolfo Mande, Luis Narisma, Judah Pantig, Antoinette Principe, Rowena Donato, Alberto Ungab, Lorenzo Benjamin Villafuerte, Trisha Ann Villafuerte, and Rachel Zozobrado.
As of June 19, 84 out of 97 local candidates had submitted their Soces, according to Comelec-Davao.
For the mayoral race, only Bishop Rodolfo “Rod” Cubos and Karlo Alexei Nograles submitted their Soces by the deadline. All four vice mayoral candidates—Bernie Al-ag, Richard Algebra, Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, and Rhodora Barcena—filed their statements.
In the First Congressional District, Paolo “Pulong” Duterte, Janet Jabines, Rex Labi, Maria Victoria Ignacia “Mags” Maglana, and Margarita Ignacia “Migs” Nograles all complied. For the Second District, Omar Vincent Duterte, Melogen Montesclaros, and Augusto Javier III Campos submitted their Soces. In the Third District, Wilberto Al-ag and Isidro Ungab filed theirs. Local political party Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod (HTL) also submitted its Soce.
Based on Comelec rules, the Soce should be personally signed by the candidate or by the party treasurer of the political party and party-list.
Davao City mayor-elect Rodrigo Duterte was brought to The Hague in the Netherlands and has been detained in the International Criminal Court since March 11, 2025.
Comelec also reminded candidates to submit the Soce in hard copies and soft copies (PDF and Excel formats). The office does not accept submissions via registered mail, courier, email, or messenger services. RGP
