
BLOCK1A students ended their Constitutional Law II class under the tutelage of University of the Philippines (UP) Law Prof. Gwen Grecia-de Vera at Malcolm Hall on May 31, 2025.
Apart from taking their final written examinations, students went through their last day of recitation on the cases of People v. Pagal, Mejia v. Pamaran, Villareal v. People, Ivler v. Modesto-San Pedro, Mari v. Gonzales, People v. Chua, Phil. Coconut Producers Federation v. Republic, In re: Petition for Radio and Television Coverage of the Multiple Murder Case Cases against Maguindanao Governor Ampatuan, Liong v. People, Echegaray v. Sec. of Justice, Republic v. N. Dela Merced.
In addition, Prof. Grecia-de Vera introduced a former student and fellow professor, Atty. Paolo Emmanuel Tamase, who gave an inspirational talk to the freshmen to thrive together in their law school journey as a block and as a batch.
Students from block 1A said they were grateful for their summative and formative education under Prof. Grecia-de Vera, noting that the latter explored various methodologies that effectively helped them enrich their study of the Constitutional Law, particularly on the Bill of Rights, and guided them in aligning their current coursework with their short-term and long-term goals in the law school to the legal profession.
Last May 28, the UP College of Law has announced the results of the 2025 Law Aptitude Examination (LAE). It also added that LAE results could be accessed through the applicant’s portal account. PR
