IT IS indeed great news for Dabawenyas and cosmetic and skin care enthusiasts in Mindanao as TonyMoly opened their first branch in Mindanao last Friday, June 8, at the SM City Davao.
As Koreans are known for their good skin and signature skin care and make up products, Korean cosmetic products are now very popular in the Philippines. Many Korean cosmetic companies promising high quality and good results had since expanded here in different cities in the Philippines. One of them is TonyMoly, one of the companies under Amado Group Company (AGC) which also brought Etude House to the Filipinas.
AGC CEO and President Andrea Pamela C. Amado shared that TonyMoly is a one-stop shop for all of one's beauty needs. They have products for skin care and make-up. She also said the products come in fun packaging and are very affordable, making it very much for the young and the young at heart.
Amado said all of their products are from Korea. They have also been reviewed by different bloggers in the Philippines who had commented on their products positively and have recommended it as well.
Aside from skincare and make-up products, they also have hair care and hair color products. Amado shared that even salons in Manila directly buy products from their stores because of its established good quality and results.
"We are very excited about our opening in Davao mainly because women in Davao take good care of themselves. They are well-read and well-exposed what's out there. It's just that other brands are not in Davao yet. This is long overdue but we're very happy that we're here in Davao," said Amado.
Even with the array of cosmetic products that they offer, TonyMoly is especially strong in terms of sales of skincare products in Manila. Amado said their best seller there is the Snail Line cream which is perfect for sun-damaged skin and those experiencing sunspots.
TonyMoly in SM City Davao, which is located near Petco pet store, is their 15th mall branch in the country although they are also in 11 different department stores nationwide.
