TWO University of Mindanao (UM)-Davao City alumni made it to the top 10 of the August 2023 Psychometricians Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday evening, August 9, 2023.
Nyle Kate Gabinete Matias ranked second with 88.80 percent, while Darilyn Namoc Lucob ranked fourth with 88.40 percent.
UM, in a statement, lauded its College of Arts and Sciences Education for "producing [topnotchers]" in the recent Psychometricians Licensure Examination."
The university also congratulated all of its exam takers.
“First Takers: 75.86%[,] National Passing Rate: 73.27%[.] Kudos to the College of Arts and Sciences Education! Mabuhay, University of Mindanao!" UM said in a Facebook post.
Meanwhile, a total of 64 takers made it to the top 10.
Bianca Patricia Tiglao Reyes of the Bulacan State University-Malolos topped the examination with 89.60 percent.
PRC said 6,133 out of 8,370, or 73.27 percent, passed the licensure exam.
Meanwhile, the Ateneo de Davao University (AdDU) ranked ninth in the top ten performing institutions in the Psychometricians Licensure Examination.
AdDU attained a passing rate of 87.65 percent, with 71 of the 81 test takers passing the license exam.
