A NETWORK service provider launched the Retail Revolution, a groundbreaking initiative offering a wide range of digital solutions to enhance transactions for retail and wholesale businesses and their customers at SM Lanang Premier on September 1.

Globe Telecom, the event's organizer, has introduced this transformative concept known as "connected retail," designed to improve online and offline consumer experiences.

This concept encompasses a variety of digital solutions, including mobile plans, improved Internet connectivity, basic website services, and inventory management solutions, specifically tailored to cater to the needs of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

An exhibit showcasing MSMEs was also featured at the event.

These inventory management solutions facilitate end-to-end digitization of supply chain processes, spanning inventory management, purchasing, accounting, order management, sales account management, and customer product delivery.

"We envision tech-enabled businesses as the future of retail, and we commit to being a trusted and reliable partner of wholesale/retail MSMEs in their digital transformation journey," Globe Business said in a statement.

The event also featured renowned expert speakers from the business and retail industries who discussed challenges, trends, and best practices in digitalization and retail.

Notable speakers included entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Jayson Lo, Philippine Retail Association Vice President Lawyer Paul Santos, Prosperna Philippines Head of Growth Francis Oliva, Rakuten Viber Business Development Specialist Lerick Felipe, and Sophia Jewellery Director Arnold Infante.

In a speech, Kath Janda, Globe Business manager for segment marketing and integrated marketing, said: "This revolution calls for businesses to adapt, innovate, and harness the power of digital solutions to thrive in this changing market."

The event was held with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), GoNegosyo, and the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (DCCCII).

Over 50 MSME owners and entrepreneurs attended the event, making it a significant gathering of industry professionals and innovators. ICE
