Innovating with chocolates

AVID Dabawenyo fans of Puratos will now have a better access in getting their all-time favorite Puratos products with the opening of the Tri-Foods Innovation Center, a first in Mindanao.

Tri-Foods Bakery Supplies Incorporated is the official and exclusive distributor of Puratos Philippines’ products here in Mindanao, serving almost over a thousand customers and baking enthusiasts in the island.

Juan Miguel M. Avanceña, chief-executive officer of Tri-Foods Bakery Supplies Inc. said this will help promote cacao and high-quality cacao beans in Davao City and Mindanao.

“This will encourage more people to be able to participate in the cacao production by buying the chocolate products we distribute here in Mindanao,” Avanceña said on Friday, September 28, 2018 during the launching of the Tri-Foods Innovation Center at Obrero, Davao city.

He also said the partnership with Puratos will bring good quality chocolates to Mindanawons and chocolate enthusiasts alike.

“The partnership with Puratos is important because they bring he technology as far baking is concerned with all the ingredients and how to bring it in together, and they come up with innovative ideas with quality as their trademark,” Avanceña said.

He also added that Puratos has a committed research and development team in creating classic chocolate product that meets the international standards and second to none.

“It is important that with the knowledge Puratos have, they share it with the people here in Mindanao,” Avanceña said.

He also added that alongside with the opening of the innovation center is also a baking demonstration class for bakers to gain more knowledge on how to make delightful delicacies with Puratos products.

“With the innovation center, it brings the product directly to the consumers and customers, allowing them to have a hands-on experience as far as baking is concern, and judging for themselves the efficiency of the products,” Avanceña said.

Puratos Philippines general manager Luisito Medina Cue said the new center of Tri-Foods will bring a game changer increasing more consumers of Puratos’ products.

“Dabawenyo consumers can expect more exciting and innovative products from us which will definitely show how high-quality chocolate beans here in Mindanao are. And we are just very much excited in sharing our knowledge with the people here,” Cue said.
