DAVAO City continues to strengthen its position as a rising hub for the Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (IT-BPO) industry with the opening of CloudStaff’s new office on March 25, 2025 at Damosa IT Park.

This marks CloudStaff’s 14th site in the Philippines, and as the first Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza)-accredited IT park in Southern Mindanao, Damosa IT Park highlights Damosa Land’s commitment to creating a future-ready business ecosystem that attracts leading companies and drives the region's economic growth.

CloudStaff’s decision to set up operations at Damosa IT Park underscores Davao’s growing appeal to outsourcing firms seeking access to a highly skilled workforce, cost-effective operations, and a business-friendly environment. The park’s premium office spaces, robust infrastructure, and sustainability-focused design made it the ideal location for CloudStaff’s continued growth.

“CloudStaff’s entry into Damosa IT Park reinforces our vision of making Davao one of the top outsourcing hubs in the country. More than just providing office spaces, we are enabling companies to operate in an environment that supports business growth, promotes employee well-being, and contributes to the city’s economic expansion,” said Ricardo “Cary” Lagdameo, President of Damosa Land.

For CloudStaff, the new office at Damosa IT Park provides an opportunity to tap into Davao’s rich talent pool, which has become a key attraction for global outsourcing firms looking for highly skilled professionals.

“We chose Davao as our 14th site in the Philippines because of its rich pool of highly skilled talent, its growing infrastructure, and the strong support from the local community. Davao’s commitment to education, workforce development, and its strategic location in Mindanao make it the ideal place for CloudStaff to continue its growth,” expressed Miki Carbonel, Global Chief Recruitment Officer for Cloudstaff.

Damosa IT Park, with its PEZA accreditation, energy-efficient office spaces, and seamless connectivity, is designed to meet the needs of global IT-BPO firms. The integration of modern workspaces, green areas, and proximity to key commercial and residential hubs ensures that businesses operating in the park benefit from both operational efficiency and employee well-being.

Lagdameo concluded, “CloudStaff’s expansion at Damosa IT Park is just the beginning. As more companies see the advantages of locating in Davao, we will continue to develop world-class spaces that attract industry leaders and provide opportunities for local talent to thrive.” DEF
