Davao CDRRMO deploys 300 personnel for Kadayawan

THE Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) said on Monday that it will deploy over 300 personnel for the Kadayawan Festival.

CDRRMO Head Alfredo Baloran said that among them are trained barangay volunteers

“Actually naa nami deployment of our emergency responders, actually gi-include na namo diha ang among na train na mga medical responders from the barangays, kung nay mga activities within their barangays isa sila nga murespond. But for the major events of the Kadayawan, some of them will be utilized to augment our resources na naa diri sa big activities (We have prepared for the deployment of our emergency responders, we included the trained medical responders from the barangays whom we trained to respond to activities within their barangays. But for the major events of Kadayawan, some of them will be utilized to augment our resources for the big activities),” Baloran said.

Baloran said that they also have coordinated with repair shops to prioritize the repair of emergency vehicles once they encounter issues during the Kadayawan celebrations.

“We have  conditions during the highlight events.
