WITH eyes set on victory, the Davao Regional Athletic Association (DAVRAA), proudly known as the Davao Eagles, is ready to spread its wings wider than ever at the 2025 Palarong Pambansa in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, happening from May 24 to 31.

Building on last year’s remarkable climb from 6th to 4th place, Davao Eagles have proven they belong among the nation’s top-performing regions.

Now, following a rigorous 15-day in-house training, the Dabawenyo athletes are more determined than ever to fly even higher.

Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo, alongside the regional management committee, expressed unwavering support for the delegation. Speaking with conviction, RD Farnazo highlighted the symbolic importance of the maroon color worn by the athletes.

“Today, and every time you wear this color, you carry with you honor, responsibility, and the high expectations that come with representing the Davao Region,” Farnazo stated.

He also emphasized the importance of sportsmanship at all times.

“If ever you are tempted to do foolishness, to slack off, or to show disrespect to others, let this color remind you of the duty and dignity you uphold.”
