The Unit 1-Davao City National High School (DCNHS) spikers showcased their firepower once again, securing back-to-back titles as the Davao City Athletic Association (Dcaa) Meet 2025 secondary volleyball tournament wrapped up at the DCNHS covered court on Friday, February 7.
The DCNHS boys’ team completed a three-peat, overpowering Unit 6-Assumption College of Davao (ACD) with a commanding 25-14, 25-11, 25-14 victory in the championship match. Dale Haver Balintaculo of DCNHS earned the best player of the game honors for his outstanding performance.
DCNHS set the pace early with powerful serves and quick plays, preventing ACD from finding its rhythm. Though ACD fought hard to mount a comeback, the defending champions remained composed and closed out each set with a decisive lead.
With this triumph, DCNHS cemented its dominance in the division, capturing its third consecutive Dcaa title. ACD, despite a valiant effort, settled for silver.
