THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has conducted a deeper investigation to identify the suspect in the January 15, 2025 robbery of a cooperative establishment along Barangay Catalunan Grande, Davao City.
Based on an initial investigation, the unknown suspect had stolen a total of P694,277.89 at USPD Savings and Credit Cooperative, Door 1 and Door 2, Plaza De San Isidro Building.
The suspect was believed to have created a hole in the back wall of the safety vault using a hard object or equipment after police discovered a .38 caliber handgun.
Authorities also believed that the culprit had gained entry to the rear of Leo Revita Salon and destroyed its exit door to enter the establishment.
“The suspect then climbed to the ceiling of the comfort room, went down to the comfort room of the USPD Cooperative, and carted away the cash before exiting in the same manner,” investigators said.
Currently, DCPO says that further investigation to identify the suspect and recover the stolen money has been ongoing. DEF
