DAVAO City Water District (DCWD) with Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation (TLDC) successfully conducted a tree planting activity on June 14, 2025, at Sitio Lipadas in Barangay Manuel Guianga.
The initiative brought together volunteers from both parties, including DCWD’s Forest and Water Guardians, to plant 100 bogo, 50 durian, and 50 avocado seedlings. Some of the seedlings were sourced from DCWD’s nursery.
This collaborative effort supports DCWD’s Integrated Watershed Management program and reflects TLDC’s dedication to environmental stewardship. It also aimed to contribute to the long-term preservation and sustainability of one of Davao City’s vital water sources.
By engaging both organizations and local volunteers, the event reinforced the collective responsibility to safeguard the city’s natural resources through proactive and community-driven initiatives. PR
