The suspect, identified only as alias Ervin, was caught transporting 200 boxes of D&G cigarettes valued at approximately P2.5 million.

Ervin was apprehended when his white Isuzu 14-wheeler truck, pulling a 40-foot container van, was flagged down at a routine checkpoint along Libby Road in Barangay Bago Gallera, Davao City. During the inspection, authorities found the concealed contraband cigarettes inside the container.
