AUTHORITIES dismantled a drug den in a joint operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (Pdea) Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET-11) and the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) in Barangay Catalunan Grande, Talomo District, Davao City.
Pdea-Davao confirmed that the operation, which took place at 10:05 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, resulted in the arrest of three high-value targets: alias Bryan, 32, who was running the drug den, accomplice alias Alain, and customer alias Gevie.
The operation stemmed from a confirmed transaction where alias Bryan sold a sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for market money, leading to his arrest. A subsequent search of the premises uncovered 15 sachets of suspected shabu valued at ₱385,000, along with a .45 caliber pistol and live ammunition.
Charges under the Republic Act (RA) 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591, the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, are being prepared against the suspects. JPC
