TURNING the night into a melancholic moment, Moira dela Torre serenaded the crowd with her sentimental songs during the 'Moira live in Davao' concert last August 26 at the University of Southeastern Philippines gymnasium.

After leaving the Dabawenyos emotionally engrossed in her previous concert four years back, she did not fail to sway the crowd again with heartfelt emotions as she sang her new version of "Paubaya" to kick off the show.

She also sang some of her hit songs "Tagpuan," "Malaya," "Before it Sinks In," and "Take Her to the Moon".

It was a night filled with cheers and applause as Moira greets Dabawenyos with her soulful voice.

"How are you guys, you guys been good? Namiss ko po kayo," Moira expressed as the crowd shouted with glee.

Just as Dabawenyos thought that the night could not stir a more intense wrecking ball of emotions, Moira admitted that she and her estranged husband, Jason Marvin, had a talk and that left the crowd amazed by her words.

"We were talking about [legal] papers. And we were both talking about how God can turn things around even if it's not what we thought it would look like. That we can actually move forward without, you know, bitterness even if it's not how we planned it," Moira shared.

She then sang "Rewritten Vows" wholeheartedly.

The crowd released a sigh of relief when Moira took a break from her emotional songs as she sang "Babalik Sa'yo," which is the only happy song that she performed during the concert.

Capping off the show, the place was enveloped with sentimental feels as the lights went dim and only the lights coming from the audiences’ mobile phones shone through the gymnasium when Moira sang "Kumpas" from "2 Good 2 Be True."

Before she graced the night with her soul-stirring performance, two front acts including Yes My Love, a rising P-Pop group, and Bisaya singer-songwriter TJ Monterde performed on stage.

The concert was made possible by LX2 Entertainment, Cornerstone Concerts, Tagged Events, and Wiltelcom. DSCA
