Real-life couple Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jason Francisco, or Melason, drew kilig and laughter from netizens over a duet they recently posted on their fan page.

The video started with Melai saying, “this song is brought to you by Trabaho Partylist.”

A staunch supporter of Trabaho Partylist’s legislative agenda, the celebrity host used it as an introduction to bring another point – making a constant effort to show your affection for the person you love.

“Dahil ang pagmamahal mo sa isang tao ay tinatrabaho [Because your love for one person ought to be shown through works of love],” added Melai before looking directly at her husband Jason to say “I love you!”

“God bless po. Good luck Trabaho Partylist!” replied Jason, affirming his wife’s support for the candidacy of pro-labor reform group with ballot name 106 Trabaho.

The next remarks of Melai further sent waves of excitement to netizens after she asked Jason a question using “trabaho” as a figure of speech understood by married couples, and with reference to “later tonight”.

Jason only nodded and started singing his part in their duet dubbed “Palagi – the wrong version”.

As of this writing, their duet has already garnered four million views, over 100,000 shares, and thousands of comments from the netizens.

“I'm torn between heart and haha reaction HAHAHA susko melai!” wrote a netizen.

“Hahaha cute nyo talaga super kilig ,” commented another.

Another netizen said, “Since PBB [Pinoy Big Brother] lods [idol] kuna kau melason.”

“Why so i kilig.  I remember pbb house when they are nakakakilig,” shared by a netizen.

Melason, whose onscreen tandem blossomed during the reality competition Pinoy Big Brother, sealed their duet with a kiss.

The couple has been married for ten years and blessed with two daughters Mela and Stela. PR
