BTS Armys are known to be the largest fandom in the world that can break streaming records through organized online campaigns. But over the years, breaking streaming records isn't just enough for them.

Inspired by BTS's Love Myself campaign that sends a powerful anti-bullying message, promoting self-love among children and young people across the world, their Armys did also responds to that call, they began to come together and support social causes in different ways, they also want to break stereotypes that they aren't just obsessed with these seven talented boys known as RM, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

In Davao City, there are two groups known for doing cup sleeves events for a cause that supports home for the aged and some orphanages, they are Hallyu Land and Community of Army.

Community of Army started in March 2021 and was formed through the initiatives of its co-founder, Osbert Bryan Villasis who began doing volunteer work back in his college days. He invited five of his friends in college who are also BTS Fans to get together every time one member of BTS is having a birthday through attending cup sleeves events.

Eventually they thought of building a community to encourage BTS fans in Davao City to attend these cup sleeves events and donate at the same time.

The Community of Army now has more than 100 collaborative and generous BTS Fans who are part of the group. Fifteen of them are the people behind the concepts of their events.

Hallyu Land, on the other hand, also started as a Facebook Page during the lockdown, Henriette Oscares and her partner Danielle Alexa Paeste shared their thoughts and insights on their page about kdramas they have watched, this is their way of killing time during the lockdown.

As the page grew bigger and earned a lot of followers, they eventually thought of creating cup sleeves events for a cause though celebrating K-drama actors and actresses' birthdays, aside from being a K-drama fans a lot of them also are also BTS Fans, they have currently 3,644 followers on their page who supports their organized cup sleeves events.

Currently, these two groups of BTS Armys collaborated along with the first and only BTS themed café in Davao City - the Borahae Café They were sponsored by selected KPop Merch Shops in the city for the grandest Christmas event for Dabawenyo BTS Armys titled 7 Purple Winter Holidays.

These seven days of socializing with BTS Davao Armys is filled with fun events like, film viewing with P70 fee per movie, K-Market Fair that is open to all, Trivia Games for P190 that covers six-day access, and on the last day there were more engaging events like kimbap making for P150, Beads Making for P100, and a Kpop Dance tutorial for P50.

All of the events' proceeds will be donated to three beneficiaries: (1) Care for the Elderly Foundations Inc. (Home for the Aged); (2) Countryview Assisted Living Facility Inc. (Home for the Aged); and (3) Sorelle Missionarie Dell'amore Di Cristo Inc. (Orphange).

They donated toys for children, clean clothes, toiletries, medical supplies, and school supplies. They also set up a donation box inside the venue for people who wanted to drop off donations.

The event started on Monday, December 13, and will end on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Borahae Café, G/F Pink Walters Bldg., Quimpo Blvd., Davao City beside Ice Giants Sandawa.
