A TOTAL of 50 indigenous scholars under the Iskolar ng Tribu program will receive school supplies and cash assistance through an initiative that allows schools to select deserving students.

The initiative aims to support education among underprivileged youth while promoting inclusivity and empowerment.

Event organizer Pau Garcia emphasized during the Kapehan sa Dabaw on Monday, March 31, 2025, at SM City Davao that proceeds from Sculptura 2025 will directly benefit the scholars, ensuring that they will receive essential educational support and cash assistance.

The selection of scholars is entrusted to the schools allowing them to decide who among their students deserves a slot in the program.

Sculptura 2025: Ang Sining ng Pananamit is a fashion show event that will happen on April 13, 2025 at Aeon Towers, JP Laurel Avenue, Bajada, Davao City. The show, inspired by ancient Roman sculptures, serves as a fundraising initiative to support the scholars while showcasing artistic creativity in fashion.

Beyond fundraising, Sculptura 2025 highlights inclusivity welcoming participants from all walks of life, including individuals with autism.

"I don’t want them to feel left out because they are full of life," Garcia added, highlighting the event’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity.

One of the young participants, a 17-year-old aspiring model Mackenzie Amia Senarillos Conde, shared her excitement about joining the show.

"This is my first time, and I don’t really know what to expect, but I will try my best. I want to boost my confidence and become a model so I won’t feel shy in future fashion shows," Conde said.

The show merges fashion, culture, and social advocacy. Organizers hope it will not only raise funds for education but also inspire more people to support programs that uplift underprivileged youth. Cine Grace Languay, DOrSU intern
