Strengthening its commitment to community service, CHMI Hotels and Residences Inc. – Acacia Hotel Davao signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Archdiocesan Nourishment Center, Inc. (ANC) on July 23, 2025, at the Durio Function Hall of Acacia Hotel Davao.
The partnership aims to support ANC’s nutrition and feeding programs for undernourished and vulnerable children in Davao City. Both organizations share a common goal of addressing hunger and malnutrition at the grassroots level.
As part of the initiative, Acacia Hotel Davao will offer a fundraising room package under its Deluxe Room category. For every room package sold from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to ANC to fund its nutrition and community development projects.
The MOA was signed by Ms. Daffodil Martinez-Bahani, Resident Manager of Acacia Hotel Davao, and Most Reverend Romulo G. Valles, DD, Archbishop of Davao. Also present as witnesses were Mr. Jerce Rycil Luy, Marketing Communications Officer of Acacia Hotel Davao, and Monsignor Paul A. Cuison, Director of the Archdiocesan Nourishment Center, Inc.
“This is our #SimplyHeartfelt service in action — extending the care we give to our guests to the wider community we are part of,” said Martinez-Bahani. PR
