Bring the hotel experience to your homes

EVER get the hang of staying in a hotel? With mild fragrance and soft comforters, surely, everyone dreamt of living in a luxurious one forever.

Well, actually, you can. And money is not an issue. You just need extra time to work out those creative ideas on your personal space.

1. Clean up, throw out

If you live in a cluttered space with too much of your old stuff lying inside unopened boxes for years, then, you have to take that hard pill of throwing them all out. Forget about sentimental values, but if it is necessary for you to keep, you have to make a place for them out of sight. To have that bigger vacant space in your rooms.

A tidy place makes for a comfortable atmosphere and it also makes you more productive.

Change your sheets regularly too!

2. Opt for lighter shades

Your wall colors do not only rely on which ones are your favorites but also the kid of aura it emits.

Lighter shades translate to calm and peaceful vibes. When you enter your house, you want it as a relaxing place, light and cool colors will do the job for you.

Think infant; choose powder blue, lavender, light grey, light green, or carnation pink.

3. Pop some good lighting

Another option for colors is putting in some good lighting. Placing pin lights on corners of your ceiling will spread out the light across the room.

Bedside lamps in warm tones or yellow lighting will also change the mood for some intimate scenes.

4. Keeping it white

Hotel rooms are so attractive because their bed sheets are all white, fluffy, and comfy. And when you lay on it, it feels as if you are in cloud nine. That is the reason why you have to invest on good, white, cotton sheets for beds. This is also perfect for our warmer climate because darker sheets absorb heat that radiates through our windows. White sheets will keep your bed cool and keep you relaxed at night.
