

TANAUAN CITY – CoinEx, a global cryptocurrency exchange, celebrated the start of 2025 by sponsoring the New-Year Criterium Bike Race. Held on January 5 at the beautiful Bañadero Baywalk, the event brought together over 200 cyclists for an exciting competition.
Organized by the Alpha Siklista Cycling Club and supported by the LGUs of Tanauan City, the race was a thrilling start to the year for cycling enthusiasts and the local community.
The event’s success was made possible through the help of partners like CafTeavated, Kaiju Cafe, Bicycle Project Manila, Dr. Eugel Solleza Dental Clinic, Hon. Mark Anthony Halili, Hon. Jocelyn Seruelas Amo, Mrs. Jane Blanza, and Mrs. Angelou Balba Austria. Their support showcased the strong community spirit in Tanauan City.
The New-Year Criterium had two categories: Mountain Bike and Road Bike. Cyclists of all ages and skill levels competed, showing incredible endurance, skill, and sportsmanship. The scenic Bañadero Baywalk added to the race’s charm, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for both participants and spectators.
The top 10 finishers in each category were rewarded with cash prizes, trophies, and medals to recognize their hard work and outstanding performance. The awards ceremony celebrated the spirit of competition and brought the community together in support of the cyclists.
