WHENEVER I am craving for Korean food but also on a budget at the same time, I always opt for this Korean street food place in the city – Gangnam in Davao Restaurant.

Located along Surveyor St. (just across Victoria Plaza), Gangnam in Davao also known as Gomone, serves a variety of popular Korean Street foods perfect to satisfy one’s KFood cravings.

The Food

Their Korean Street Food menu is mostly composed of the staples which are the tteokboki (P39), fishcake with soup (P39), kimbap (P59), corndog (P30), and a variety of fried veggies.

I usually order their tteokboki which you can opt to add with cheese for P69 and their fishcake; these two are the ones that I crave for!

The Vibe

The street food is situated at the front of the restaurant and what I love about it is that you can opt to eat standing on the sidewalk or sitting on their tables. Gangnam also has two food stations: one for the tteokboki and fishcake and another for the fried ones.

Servers are cool and accommodating as well, just be patient though during peak hours which is around 5-6pm as there will be a lot of customers during those times.

The Verdict

Gangnam in Davao gets two thumbs up! It’s not only a place to satisfy your Korean food cravings but is also a perfect start if you want to get a quick taste of Korean food. Gangnam in Davao Korean Street Food operates from 4pm-11pm.
