IMAGINE waking up to the sight of fresh harvest or the scent of newly-tilled soil in your very own home garden!

This and more will be an experience shared daily in Agriya, the first agritourism city in Mindanao, located in Panabo City, 30 minutes away from Davao City. This 88-hectare modern agropolis (agricultural metropolis) by Damosa Land (DLI) highlights eco-living at its finest, with residential, commercial, institutional and agritourism zones that embrace the location’s abundant flora and fauna.

Accredited by the Department of Tourism as an official farm tourist destination, Naturetainment – Agriya’s agritourism component - seamlessly blends nature with modern life. Here, adults and kids alike can enjoy various outdoor recreational activities such as strolling in the banana walkway where sixty-seven (67) banana varieties are grown and harvested every season; playing with different farm animals; boating in the lagoon; and simply enjoying the fresh scenic landscape.

Ameria, Agriya’s premier subdivision, offers contemporary living where residents can enjoy their fresh harvest for a personal take on farm-to-table. Aside from the joy and appreciation for farming, Ameria also offers eco-friendly houses with high-performance concrete building technology by Connovate.

At Agriya Strip, its first commercial district, guests and residents can enjoy date nights at nearby restaurants, conversations over coffee, and family get-togethers within the agropolis.

Agriya’s institutional component - the University of the Philippines Professional School for Agriculture and the Environment (UPPSAE) - an education center by DLI in partnership with UP Los Banos, is dedicated to cater to students and professionals who aim to pursue graduate programs, short courses or trainings in agriculture.

“We were inspired to tap into the wealth of Mindanao, being the focal point of agriculture in the Philippines, and establish a go-to tourism zone where anyone can experience its rich lands and entice local and international tourists to visit the region,” said DLI President Ricardo Lagdameo.

With the return of travel, DLI is continuously innovating Agriya to welcome nature-enthusiasts looking for a contemporary outdoor adventure in the region.
