Staycation at Eden Nature Park and Resort

YOU scroll through your social media news feed and see that some of your friends are already enjoying their summer vacations. Be it in a foreign land, a last minute visit to Boracay Island, a trek in Mt. Apo, swimming with the fishes in Palawan, or enjoying the cool weather of Baguio, these are just some of the photos you will find on your feed.

After seeing these, you now ask yourself, "Where should I go this summer?" Plane tickets must be expensive by now since it is the peak season. Planning to go out with your friends can be a hassle since some may or may not commit.

Well, you don't have to travel far to enjoy a quick summer vacation.

Still within the confines of the highly urbanized Davao City, you can enjoy a quick retreat at the Eden Nature Park and Resort in Toril District.

There are a lot of things to do here for an overnight stay.

Once you have checked in one of their comfortable rooms, drop by the visitor center and book a guided shuttle tour for you and your companions. The tour will take you to the flower garden, Tinubdan (cultural village), and Lola's Garden.

However, if you want to explore the area on foot, you can also choose to take the hiking trail where you get to experience nature up close as you trek under the canopy of tall trees.

You will surely start to feel hungry after the tour or the trek. Drop by at the Vista Restaurant for a delicious buffet lunch. You can also drop by at the Fishing Village where you can catch your own fish for your meal.

Once you get your tummy's fill and enjoyed a good rest at your room, test how brave you are with the Sky Swing. You can also enjoy a great view of the vastness of Davao City while on the Sky Cycle or the Sky Rider.

Then in the evening, enjoy Eden Nature Park and Resort's version of glamping where you get to enjoy delicious food in front of a bonfire or while watching a movie with your friends.

After a fun first day at the resort, retire to the comforts of your room for a peaceful rest.

The following day, I suggest you get up early so you can catch the sunrise or simply enjoy the cool morning breeze. Then by 6 a.m., make your way to the Vista Restaurant for a delicious breakfast.

Finally, cap off your visit at the resort with a dip at their pool before you check out.

Eden Nature Park and Resort is definitely a must-visit destination for you and your friends or family where you can have lots of fun at the same time relax in the cool climate and enjoy delicious food.
