In a move to strengthen ties with the travel industry and champion Davao as a premier destination, Acacia Hotel Davao, in partnership with Eden Nature Park and Resort and Holiday Tours, hosted its inaugural Business-to-Business (B2B) and Familiarization (FAM) Tour on July 19, 2025.
Held at Acacia Hotel Davao’s Durio Hall, the event gathered a dynamic mix of tour operators, travel agencies, media representatives, and officials from the City Tourism Office (CTO) for a full-day immersion into the best that Acacia and Eden have to offer.
The roadshow opened with a warm welcome and a series of insightful presentations. Representatives from Acacia Hotel Davao, Bacolod, and Alabang showcased their properties, highlighting packages tailored for leisure travelers, corporate events, and group bookings. Eden Nature Park & Resort and the Island Buenavista also took center stage, reinforcing the region's natural charm as a tourism magnet.
The event’s highlight was the B2B networking session — a platform where hotel sales teams and local travel agencies engaged in fruitful conversations, sharing opportunities for collaboration and exclusive promotions. The session was designed not only to foster connections but also to refresh travel agents’ awareness of property offerings, new experiences, and evolving traveler needs.
Participants traveled to Eden Nature Park for the FAM tour — an on-ground exploration of the park’s signature attractions. Attendees enjoyed curated activities, including a sneak peek at the much-anticipated Highland Escape Room Experience, showcasing how nature and adventure can blend seamlessly for unique group outings or team-building events.
More than just a promotional effort, the event marks a renewed commitment to regional partnerships, aiming to boost domestic travel and highlight Davao’s hospitality offerings.
For Acacia Hotel Davao and Eden Nature Park, this initiative is just the beginning. With their travel agency database now updated and new relationships in place, both properties are poised to drive more tourism activity—not just in Davao, but across their hotel network.
The road to a thriving tourism future lies in collaboration, experience-sharing, and a deep appreciation for what Davao can truly offer. AJA
