A NEW premium barbershop, Barron's Barbershop, recently opened in Matina catering to boys and men who need a good haircut in the southern part of the city.
Despite the strong competition among premium barbershops in the city, Eric Chua, one of the partners of Barron's Barbershop, said they decided to open up this kind of barbershop because they see there is a demand for one. At the same time, he assures their potential customers that they are able to provide a better experience.

One of the first things that impressed me about Barron's Barbershop is its classy interior. I just love its gray walls and the wood finishings of the barbers' workstation. The pop of green from the plants and also other colors from the decors are also refreshing to the eyes. I also love how spacious the barbershop is.
I also find it fascinating that the barbershop gives you the feel of a classy man cave with its leather chairs and overall look.
2. Great service
Another standout aspect of the barbershop is its quality service. I find the staff here to be friendly and polite. I also like the leisurely and comforting pace of getting a haircut here.
My barber, Janrey Sagale, was amazing. He was courteous and really helped me decide on the look I wanted to go for. He also gave tips on how to manage my hair with my new look.
3. Great haircut
I never felt so handsome after getting a haircut. To date, what kuya Janrey did to my hair has got to be the best haircut I have ever had.
Chua said he made sure to only get experienced barbers for the barbershop. Despite being experiences, the barbershop also gave the barbers training that will allow them to enhance their craft.
With that said, the level of work Janrey gave was definitely top notch. This was one of those moments when I was very happy with the haircut I got.
4. Affordable premium service
For a premium barbershop, I find the price of their services affordable for the quality they give. Barron's Signature Haircut is at P180 and includes shampoo, hot towel, and a decent massage. Couple with a great service, P180 is a good deal already.
5. Location
Located at Acacia Bldg. Acacia St. corner Calachuchi St., Juna Subdivision, Barron's Barbershop is conveniently located near Ateneo de Davao University-High School. Students and even those living within Juna Subdivision will not need to go too far to get a nice haircut.
Aside from that, it is near Battleground and Out of Nowhere Kitchen. So, when you are waiting for your turn to get a haircut, you can grab a bite at the nearby coffee shops or restaurants.
