CELEBRATING 25 years of being a successful Filipino fashion retail powerhouse, Plains & Prints is bringing their anniversary collection here in Davao City.
The collection, called Timeless 25, was launched on July 25 at Chimes Specialty Boutique, making Dabawenyas the first to take a glimpse of the clothing line's iconic design before its nationwide release starting August 1.
Dubbed as Beyond 25, the collection features artists who have worked with Plains & Prints, as well as several new ones, in the brand's growing list of partners.
The project tapped 15 biggest names in the modern Philippine fashion, collaborating for over a year to bring back memorable designs and prints re-worked and transformed for the women of today.
Three of them graced the launching and proudly presented their works, namely Vania Romoff, Martin Bautista, and Anthony Ramirez.
Ramirez showed his penchant for solid colors with the blue Kiarra, and the black Catalina.
While Bautista's one-shoulder number comes in the sienna Celinetop and skirt and the printed Cecciletop and skirt.
Romoff, who collaborated with Plains & Prints for the third time, showcased her red Marcella dress and brown and white Carlotta.
"Plains & Prints beyond 25 years is a testament to our dedication to fashion, and we want to empower the individuality and diversity of modern Filipina by giving them the finest selection of quality designs," says Plains & Prints marketing manager Leslie Chan.
As Chimes being a fashion destination, Chan said "we take pride in our continuous partnership for always supporting local fashion and creating wonderful fashion moment.”
Ramirez and Bautista, in a joint interview, shared how Dabawenyas will have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the aesthetic and classic design of the collection.
Romoff, meanwhile, shared the dress' designs are inclusive "to every kind of Filipina".
"It makes me happy I get to dress the Davao women through Plains & Prints," she said.
Plains & Prints' Timeless 25 collection is available at the Chimes Specialty Boutique along Governor Sales street.
