FERRARI and Maserati test the Davao road on June 20, as both luxury car brands presented its Portofino and Levante to Dabawenyo car enthusiasts.
The Maserati team and Autostrada, the official dealer for Ferrari in the Philippines, had its roadshow in the city last week to promote these cars as Davao market is starting to show interests in these luxurious cars.
The event also allowed select media and clients to test ride both cars around the vicinity of Park Inn by Radisson Davao.
Park Inn by Radisson Davao’s general manager Emelyn Rosales welcomed the team to the hotel warmly.
“This is the first time that Ferrari Maserati is coming to Davao city and it is with our greatest delight to accommodate and welcome the team. Davao city is growing enormously in terms of economy and tourism and this might be the ideal time to bring the Ferrari experience to Dabawenyos,” she said in a statement.
Maserati presents the Levante MY2018 that has adopted a new range strategy with two distinct new trims: the luxury-orientated GranLusso and the red-blooded GranSport. Maserati also brought its Esperienza car in the city.
While for Ferrari, car enthusiasts were taken for a literal supersonic ride with its Ferrari Portofino, a perfect combination of luxury, versatility and on-board comfort.
“Powered by the Ferrari V8 turbo, a member of the engine family that won the International Engine of the Year Award in 2016 and 2017 consecutively, the new car boasts an ability to punch out 600cv and to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds,” read the Ferrari Portofino briefer.
What added extra sleekness to its silhouette and highlighted its sportier character is Portofino’s two-box fastback configuration – unprecedented in a coupe-convertible with a retractable hard top.
With the successful event of Ferrari – Maserati here, organizers plans to stage more events like this in the near future.
