IT IS that time of the year again to update your footwear.
Popular footwear brand FitFlop has recently released its new Autumn/Winter 2018 that will have its fans dropping by the Chimes Specialty Store along Governor Sales Street.
"For the Autumn/Winter collection, since it is the holiday season, we ensured that the colors that is normally in-season would be present in our collection," said Maria Soledad O. Aquino, Premer Group of Companies brand manager for FitFlop, during the launch of the collection in Davao City at the Chimes Flagship Store on November 10.
In a statement, FitFlop said the Autumn/Winter 2018's theme is “nomadic retrospective”, a nod to the Superwomen who choose to answer the call of adventure.
The company said, "the gorgeous pastel palette of pinks and blues, as well as the simple, classic silhouettes of many of the shoes in the collection promote a clear mind and simple, minimalist lifestyle. We've also drawn inspiration from this season's runway designs, incorporating trends such as the metallic snake pattern, mirror tones, embellishments like pearl, crystal and quartz, and athleisure wear."
"If there are customers looking for a more premium look for cocktails or after office party we have a selection for them to choose from," Aquino said.
During the launch, FitFlop also announced its partnership with Davao-based social enterprise Crystal Seas, a brand that carries handcrafted accessories made by Mindanao artisans.
"Through this partnership, FitFlop wants to show the world that the title of Superwomen has no limits, and that Superwomen have the capacity to go beyond the boundaries society imposes on them," FitFlop said.
From November 10 to 18, FitFlop gave out a free Crystal Seas handicraft shoe pouch with every purchase from the new Autumn/Winter 18 collection at the Chimes Specialty Store.
