THE Japanese-brand Miniso opened their 73rd branch in the Philippines on December 14, at the upper ground floor of SM Lanang Premier in Davao City.
Just in time for the holiday shopping, the Dabawenyos flocked immediately to the new store grabbing the best-selling We Bear Bare plush toys.
According to Miniso senior marketing manager Andrew Ybardolaza, these character plush toys are really in-demand in almost all their Miniso branches. During the opening, the staff had to continuously refill the shelves of We Bare Bear merchandise because they always get empty first.
Aside from plush toys, there are also We Bare Bear gadget accessories such as earphones and Android cables among others.
They also have Pink Panther items that the shoppers also took a hold of.
When asked what he could recommend as a good gift to give that is bought from Miniso, Ybardolaza suggested perfumes which he said have a great array of scent choices both for female and male.
Miniso is a designer-brand featuring all sorts of products from beauty, health and wellness, women accessories, home products, toys for the kids, and so much more. Ybardolaza said customers can expect newer items that they would add to the displays in the coming weeks. They are known to update products every seven days while pricing them at low level.
Established in Japan in 2013, this fast-growing company has already reached more than 70 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Russia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macau with average monthly growth rate if 80-100 stores.
