NCCC Ramadan Cooking Demo with Maggi
On March 22, Tacurongnon shoppers were given an informative culinary experience and opportunity to witness and learn a cooking demonstration highlighting Halal dishes with the Royal Chef Leebai Sinsuat Ambolodto and Zuhairah Abas, founder of Halal Happy Citizens (HHC). The event was held at NCCC Supermarket Tacurong, and was attended by Muslim shoppers who were eager to witness the cooking demonstration for Halal favorites, such as Creamy Salted Chicken and Sendol.
Halal insights were also shared, which was then followed by the distribution of gift packs filled with products from partner brands such as Maggi, Nestle All Purpose Cream, Nescafe and Milo.
Iftar Outreach Project with Nestle and Gawad Kalinga in Panabo
Homegrown NCCC Supermarket has partnered with Nestle Philippines for an Iftar Outreach Program that distributed over 100 food packs to local Muslim residents in participation of Gawad Kalinga in Panabo City, Davao del Norte. The outreach program was held Friday, March 31, 2023 at Barangay Datu Abdul, Panabo City. Brgy. Capt. Allan D. Pangay was present to witness the activity. Iftar is a fast-breaking meal of our Muslims brothers and sisters during the month of Ramadan immediately after sunset.
NCCC Mom Squad offers Iftar meals
The Mommy community of NCCC Supermarket tagged as “Mom Squad” provided an Iftar Outreach Program to over 200 residents in a Muslim Village. The activity was held Thursday, April 13 at Purok 60, Bangkal, Davao City.
Ramadan Favorites with Skippy
Davao City beauties shared the essence of Ramadan during an activity held on April 18 at NCCC Supermarket Mall VP. Nurainie Datumanong Ampatuan, Hiyas ng Kadayawan 2019 from the Maguindanaon tribe, lovingly reminisced her favorite Muslim delicacies during meaningful family gatherings and special occasions. Consequently, Beauty Rose Gandarosa (a Maranao, Hiyas ng Kadayawan 2022) shared how the Ramadan season made her appreciate the value of being surrounded by relatives and friends. Delightful shopping freebies were also provided to sulit shoppers.
The event is being co-presented by Skippy Peanut butter.
NCCC distributes Ramadan gift packs at 23-C, Poblacion, Davao City
NCCC Supermarket in partnership with Alaska and NCCC Cares distributed over 100 grocery bags to the Muslim residents of Barangay 23-C, primarily those affected by the fire happened in February 2023.
“Ramadan season is definitely a significant occasion to inculcate a feeling of brotherhood and belongingness in the community. Through various collaborations with Retail brands, we were able to provide meaningful ways of giving back to the members of Muslim community. Offering groceries to several families during the month of Ramadan can help them prepare Iftar and break their fast,” NCCC Supermarket Marketing Manager Janna Mutalib said. (PR)
