THOSE who collect Starbucks mugs and tumblers are sure to be excited about its Island Series Collection launched in time for the 120th Independence Day.
The Island Series features the colors and symbols of the three island groupings of the Philippines, with the Mindanao mug featuring a glossy decal of the Vinta boat on a red Bourdeaux mug.
Each 16 oz. mug, which comes in a collector box packaging, retails for P995.
Luzon features a glossy decal with gold foil highlighting the business districts of Luzon and comes in matte vibrant blue, while the Visayas mug features a debossed artwork of Sampaguita flowers and coconut palm tree leaves in gold foil representing the Visayas beaches. This mug comes in matte yellow ochre.
Launched along with the Island Series mugs are the Island Series Starbucks cards available for an initial activation amount of P500 per card.
As these are island specific, the mugs are exclusively available in the Starbucks and airport stores of the specific island groups, meaning, you can only get the Mindanao mug in Mindanao Starbucks coffee shops.
