TWO lives were taken in two separate drowning incidents in Davao Region.
The first incident happened on September 27, 2023 at Sabang Cliff, Kaputian, Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos), Davao del Norte.
According to information from the Igacos Police Station and the Kaputian Police Sub Station, the victim was identified as 12-year-old Feljann Nudalo, who lived at Sitio Quidopong, Barangay Poblacion, Kaputian, Igacos.
It was reported that the victim was with his two minor brothers swimming in the sea, but, unfortunately, the victim did not reach the shallows.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, however, he was declared dead.
Meanwhile, another drowning incident happened, this time in Davao City on Sunday, October 1. The victim, a 15-year-old boy, drowned while swimming at a resort in Barangay Dumoy.
His companion, meanwhile, a 12-year-old girl was rescued and taken to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC). She is now in a stable condition.
In the viral videos posted on Facebook, it can be seen that the bow was being revived by giving him cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. JPC
