THREE Dabawenyos have the potential to secure a spot in the top 12 senators in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections, as indicated by Pulse Asia's latest survey.

According to Pulse Asia's 2025 Elections: Senatorial Preferences survey, approximately 46.4 percent of respondents prefer voting for former presidential aide and current senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go, positioning him in the second to fourth preference range.

Former Davao City Police Office city director and Philippine National Police chief Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa gained 42.5 percent of respondents' support, good for ranking third to fourth, while Davao City first district representative Paolo "Pulong" Duterte garnered 27.5 percent for eighth to 14th rank.

The survey also revealed that more than half of the likely winners in the 2025 senatorial elections are either former or current legislators.

Topping the survey is ACT-CIS party-list representative and former broadcast journalist Erwin Tulfo, with 68.9 percent, followed by Vicente "Tito" Sotto, who secured 52 percent.

Rounding the "magic 12" were Panfilo Lacson (35.8 percent), Imee Marcos (34.5 percent), Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso (33.2 percent), Pia Cayetano (29.4 percent), Emmanuel "Manny" Pacquiao (29.1 percent), Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. (25.2 percent), and Lito Lapid (24.2 percent)

The survey was conducted from September 10 to 14 with a two percent error margin and involved 2,400 respondents aged 18 and above from all over the country. ICE
