Ten days before the election day, Caloocan City First District Representative Oscar "Oca" Malapitan endorsed Trabaho Partylist during Team Aksyon at Malasakit’s Grand Rally held at Malolos Street, North Diversion Road, Bagong Barrio.
The congressman proclaimed Trabaho as the new member of their slate, Team Aksyon at Malasakit.
Malapitan told his constituents, “We have a new team member. For partylist, let us support Trabaho Partylist!
The incumbent member of the House of Representatives also expressed that Trabaho Partylist’s win would also be a win for the City of Caloocan.
“If Trabaho Partylist wins, you will have two House of Representatives serving the City of Caloocan,” said Malapitan, referring to Trabaho Partylist first nominee Atty. Johanne Bautista.
In an earlier sortie for the same district on April 25, 2025, Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan also threw his support for the group, which he dubbed “our partylist”.
“Our partylist- 106 in the ballot,” the local chief executive referred to Trabaho Partylist.
Meanwhile, Trabaho nominee lawyer expressed gratitude for the backing from Team Aksyon at Malasakit, especially for the endorsements from Malapitan.
“I would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Along Malapitan and Cong. Oca Malapitan’s valuable support for 106 Trabaho Partylist,” said Bautista.
The nominee also confirmed Malapitan’s promise of having another representative who would serve their district.
“106 Trabaho Partylist will synergize with Team Aksyon and Malasakit for the betterment of public service here in your city, especially in expanding your access to quality and sustainable jobs and livelihood,” she added.
The group’s nominee also vowed inclusivity for women, senior citizens, persons with disability, and members of the minority, such as the LGBTQIA+ community.
On Saturday, Trabaho Partylist expressed its stance to defend the freedom of the press and the right of the people to ask, to speak, and to educate, especially this election season. PR
