THE recently initiated Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (Sacleo) conducted by the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) from August 21 to 31, 2023, have produced successful drug-related operations.
Under the dynamic leadership of DCPO director PCol Alberto P Lupaz, these operations led to the seizure of 336.2175 grams of shabu and 1,110.4600 grams of marijuana, collectively valued at approximately P2,419,534.20 in the street market.
The 59 operations resulted in the apprehension of 69 individuals involved in various criminal activities and 123 with outstanding warrants.
DCPO also underscored its unwavering commitment to public safety by conducting 44 anti-illegal gambling operations that led to the arrest of 121 violators and the confiscation of P 28,084 in betting money.
"Additionally, our dedication to ensuring a secure Davao City was evident in our campaign against illegal possession of firearms, resulting in the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation of three firearms, along with two surrendered firearms and six captured firearms during 21 operations," it added.
DCPO's operations were conducted with the primary goal of maintaining peace and order within the city. It thanked force multipliers for their diligent efforts in implementing the DCPO's anti-criminality plan. DEF
