BANSALAN, Davao del Sur - The family of the 28-year-old former contestant of ABS-CBN singing competition, Tawag ng Tanghalan, who was found dead in the afternoon of Sunday, October 23, beside a river in Purok Masagana, Sitio San Isidro, Brgy. New Clarin here, is calling for justice.

According to the family, they are still not satisfied with the initial finding of the investigation of the Bansalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) which showed that the singer drowned, after they found out that the singer's body bore multiple bruises and his body did not swell, which is usually a result of drowning.

Because of this, the Bansalan MPS is conducting a deeper probe into the death of Arnold Masamloc who was found dead by one Lydia Agan in a grassy portion beside a river.

It was learned the victim was last seen riding his motorcycle delivering a passenger, but he failed to come home.

Masamloc was known as a contestant of the Tawag ng Tanghalan in ABS-CBN's Showtime last March 2019. JPC
