OFFICIALS of the Barangay Talomo River in Calinan District, Davao City are now looking into the complaint of a resident against a suspect who allegedly raped a goat.
Early morning of Tuesday, March 16, 2021, a resident was fuming mad when they saw their goat whose feet were tied to its neck.
When they checked on their goat, they saw that its genitalia was already swollen and fresh semen seemed to be oozing from it, adding to their assumption that their goat was indeed raped at dawn on that day.
In the Facebook post of the owner, she cursed at the one responsible for the hideous act, saying: "SHOUT OUT KO SA NAG RAPE SA AMONG KANDING GIGAPOS UG MAAYO, NAA DIAY TAO MANG RAPE UG HAYOP, DIOS KO NANG GIGIL KO NIMO (sic) (Shout out to the one who raped our goat which was tightly hog-tied, there are indeed humans who can rape an animal, my God I'm too furious with you)."
She added: "Maayo ra gyud wa maabti ni papa kay sos na lang! (sic) (You're just lucky that my father did not catch you, or else!)."
Meanwhile, police authorities at Calinan Police Station are also investigating the matter to arrest the suspect.
A person who is attracted to animals is called zoophile, while the act of raping an animal is called bestiality.
