PMA Class of 2020 show firearms handling skills

THE Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Class of 2020 showed off their skills in handling firearms during their traditional silent drill exhibition at the University of Mindanao (UM)-Matina Campus Friday, May 4.

This is part of their Southern Cruise 2018 Davao Leg which is partly to gain more recruits who wanted to be PMAer.

“Our third year cadets were sent to visit the ports of Visayas and Mindanao to learn the tradition and culture of the Local Government Units (LGUs) and also to meet and be familiarized with the military camps and police station within the area,” said Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Balido, PMA Public Information Officer (PIO), during the event.

A total of 271 cadets are in Davao City for the cruise.

The cadets will also be having other activities like mangrove tree planting and recruitment activity.

The main reason of their visitation in Davao City is to invite Dabawenyos to apply for the cadetship.

If you are 17 to 21 years old with a minimum height of 5 feet and single, you are welcome to apply and be part of PMA.

You can also visit their booth in Abreeza Malls and you may apply through online at www.PMA.ph. (Jamille Galido Monforte, FSUU Intern)
