UM graduates top March 2023 LET

A TOTAL of 20 graduates from Davao Region schools topped the March 2023 Licensure Exam for Teachers, based on the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Friday, May 19.

For the Secondary Level category, Mirven Maghuyop Cabesay from the University of Mindanao in Davao City (UM-Davao) ranked first out of 48 top notchers. He earned a rating of 93.40 percent.

Nieky Mae Gumera from Cor Jesu College in Digos City followed close at third place with a rating of 92.40 percent.

In fifth place are Jeneva Diez from University of Mindanao in Digos (UM-Digos), Noe Olvido Luzgano from Davao del Norte State College, Epidel Marcellones Jr. from UM-Davao, and Jade Tumimang from Compostela Valley State College-Main (CVSC-Main). They all earned a rating of 92 percent.

Stephen Brent Baldos and Ralaine-Feby Booc from the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City (USEP-Davao), and Cheney Morre from CVSC-Main are in eighth place with 91.40 percent rating.

Kelly Jenz Bernil from UM-Davao ranked seventh with 91.60 percent and Jezil Joy Apolinar from Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology is at ninth place with 91.20 percent.

In tenth place are Alliesa Acuña from UM-Digos, Zoren Daño from Governor Generoso College of Arts, Sciences and Technology, Nova Geyrozaga from Holy Cross of Bansalan Junior College, and Raven Telin with a ratin gof 91 percent.

Meanwhile for the Elementary Level category, Cyntal Arra Dayag from University of Mindanao in Tagum City (UM-Tagum) ranked first out of 55 top notchers with a rating of 92.20 percent.

Kharein Kaye Obial from USEP-Davao followed at seventh place with 91 percent rating.

In ninth place are Malleth Callos and June Clare Llacuna from USEP-Davao and Raye Aileen Suico from University of Southeastern Philippines in Tagum City. They earned a rating of 90.60 percent.

A total of 48,005 secondary teachers and 24,819 elementary teachers passed out of more than 160,000 total examinees. This is equivalent to a 46.94 percent and 40.76 percent passing rate respectively. ICM
