CHRISTMAS in the Philippines is a time for families to come together, and one of the season’s most cherished traditions is watching movies. This love for cinema makes the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) a highly anticipated event, as Filipino moviegoers flock to theaters nationwide to enjoy the best of local films. During the MMFF, only Filipino films are shown in cinemas across the country, creating a unique celebration of the nation’s vibrant film industry.
