LIKE any other organizations, the Philippine National Police has black sheep called “ninja cops” in drug war. And the old nursery rhyme says:

“Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?

Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full!

One for the master,

And one for the dame,

One for the little boy

Who lives down the lane.”

They got the share and killed the boys that live down the lane; the attention of quad intelligence was diverted to track down the dame (drug queen) who on September 21 escaped to Bangkok, Thailand; but they did not name the master, who may also bag the third share.

Given that most scalawags in uniform are men, the police station in the municipality of Maria in Siquijor is manned exclusively by all-women cops! Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac named them “Mariang Pulis”.

The empowered women are trained in marksmanship and can chase criminals with their police patrol car and motorcycles. These platoon-size operatives are exhibiting potent physical strength, of course with pride, enough to outdo or at least equal to male’s capacity to capture criminals even without utilizing the firearms.

There are laws shielding women against abuses committed by men in supposition that men are superior in strength. If this belief will be proven wrong by these female cops, the laws like VAWC will be impractical and should be amended.

Teenage pregnancy continuously upsurge in Davao region with 2,326 cases during the first quarter of 2019. From this number of cases, 968 are recorded in Davao city alone of girls ages 15 to 19.

To remediate the propensities, 118 Teen Centers are established in public and private secondary schools throughout the region. The center will promote physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well-being of the youth.

With the Teen Center, the pregnant out of wedlock can still continue her studies without physically attending her daily classes. To save her face from humiliation, she can delegate someone to fetch the modules from the center and return the same after answering at home.

Men, have you ever been outsmarted by a woman? Here is my experience. The first time I yielded myself to a woman was when my English teacher in second year high school, charged me to represent the descendants of Adam in a literary piece entitled “Duel at the Park”. The lady who characterized the daughters of Eve was brainy, virtuous and a campus head-turner; not because of her height but of her bluish iris and perky personality.

“To you woman I surrender”, I invoked; and everything went fast that I could no longer exactly recall how the debate ended because of thunderous applause when in unison we both uttered “make me a part of your life forever” as she sat on my lap.

The last time I peeked her facebook, she already has three children but still she is beautiful.
