THE Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 (Davao Region) confiscated illegal drugs valued at more than P2.1 million during a series of operations conducted from May 19 to 25, a top official said Tuesday.

Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, PRO-11 director, reported that 69 coordinated anti-illegal drug operations led to the arrest of 83 individuals – 16 high-value targets and 67 street-level individuals.

Authorities also seized 12,428.6 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P2.1 million, along with 64.7 grams of dried marijuana valued at P7,773.

“PRO-11 has once again demonstrated its firm commitment to the national campaign against illegal drugs. This campaign aligns directly with the directives of PNP Chief, Police Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil, and the policies of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., in the pursuit of a safer, drug-free Philippines,” Rosete said in a statement.

The anti-illegal drug campaign, he said, is "not just about statistics.”

“They represent lives saved, communities protected, and criminal networks effectively disrupted," he said. PNA
