THE last batch of Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) delegates arrived safely Tuesday evening, July 25, at the Concepcion Integrated School where they are billeted.
Department of Education (DepEd) Davao regional spokesperson Jenielito "Dodong" Atillo, in a Facebook chat with SunStar Davao on Wednesday, July 26, said: "Okay ra ta dinhi, atimado kaayo ta sa school ug sa Marikina LGU (We are okay here, we are very well taken care of by the school and the Marikina LGU)."
He assured that the delegates were all accounted for and are in good health.
Atillo said athletes resumed their training yesterday while others had tune-up games in preparation for their Palarong Pambansa 2023 stint where the region aims to improve its 11th overall ranking.
Despite the good conditions, Atillo expressed hope that the health situation will continue to remain favorable. He also noted that the weather in Marikina isn't great at the moment.
