Al LANGKUNO clinched the Metba Davao January monthly finals tournament mixed oped and seniors division titles held recently at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center.
Langkuno hit a total of 1,232 pinfalls after six games in the Metro Davao Bowlers Association (Metba) Davao-organized bowlfest.
He, who had a 26 handicap, rolled over William Galacio (29) and Rene Boy Dalayon (15) who finished second and third, respectively. Galacio struck for 1,206 pinfalls while Dalayon scored 1,192 pinfalls.
Langkuno received a cash prize of P4,000 while Galacio got P2,000 and Dalayon took home P1,000.
Langkuno, Galacio and Dalayon also bagged the first three spots in the seniors category to claim additional P3,000, P2,000 and P1,000, respectively.
In the ladies division, Jingkie Moradas annexed the crown by rolling 1,117 pinfalls over Yeyen Flores (1,110), Grace Funtilon (1,082) and Grace Consolacion (1,067) while Uree Uy and Raymond Consolacion took the top two places in the youth categories. They also got cash prizes.
