THE Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) shared sports equipment to the participants of Laro't Saya sa Parke Sunday, July 29, at the People's Park of Davao City.
Sports Development Division-City Mayors Office (SDD-CMO) staff Renah Vidamo said a total 10 basketballs, 10 volleyballs, and 10 soccer balls were given away to random participants of the park-themed sports program that lured a total of 488 sports enthusiasts over weekend.
There were 425 people who joined zumba while taekwondo, karatedo and boxing clinics drew 22, 21, and 20 participants, respectively.
The balls were distributed through a raffle draw. The 30 lucky winners were called through their respective attendance numbers.
The free-registration sports program of PSC in partnership with the City Government of Davao will resume next Sunday in the same venue. (ABM)
