JESRAEL Rule staged a strong comeback as he ruled the Datba Weekly Tournament at the SM Lanang Premier bowling center over the weekend.
Rule hit a total of 630 pinfalls after three games to emerge champion over 17 entries in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).
Cyrus Morales took the runner-up honors by rolling 618 points while Ulene Rule placed third with 605 pinfalls.
On September 19, Jesrael was only second to Crystal Chavez in the Sept. 19 weekly bowlfest.
Aside from winning a cash prize, Jesrael also secured a spot in the September 2023 monthly qualifiers with his victory.
Other September qualifiers so far are September 9 weekly champion Joshua Disuacido, Ulene, Chavez, September 2 weekly titlist Ulysses Caturan, Marc Fernandez, Bam Tongo, Edmund Cambaliza, Romy Serrano, Chad Tancontian, and James Young.
The reserves include Cyrus Morales, John Tamondong, Mav Manuel, Richard Arigo, Mike Aquiatan, and Kim Salvador.
The last qualifying for the monthly finals is set on Saturday, September 30. The monthly championship is on October 1, 2023. MLSA
