JUST a week after it was officially announced, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP)-Davao Coaches Clinic reached its maximum target of 200 registrants as of Sunday, September 2.
SBP executive program officer Ronel Leuterio, who is currently in Shanghai, China to support former Blue Knights and now De La Salle Zobel University cager Francis “Ef” Escandor, said they have reached the maximum numbers of participants.
"We've reached 200. That's the maximum," Leuterio said.
Coaches in Davao Region grabbed the free slots offered by SBP regional director Glenn Escandor.
Registration fee was supposed to be P1,000 per participant.
Davao will have the biggest turnout since Cebu City had 170 coaches from different parts of Visayas.
Leuterio, however, said coaches with no ID will not be able to enter the Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center on September 30.
The clinic will be facilitated by veteran coach Jong Uichico.
